The Director, Enterprise Architecture and Business Integration is responsible for the leadership and management of the Enterprise Architecture, Business Integration and Relationship Management, and Governance departments within the Information Services (IS) division of the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
Requirements
- Oversee and lead the core capability of Enterprise Architecture
- Ensure support and alignment between the technology strategy and business strategy
- Provide core architectural services
- Anticipate industry, technology, and market trends
- Execute change to enable desired enterprise outcomes
- Oversee and lead the core capability of IS Governance Capabilities
- Oversee and lead the IT and business integration and relationship management function
- Collaborate with the CIO, CTO, and IS senior leadership team
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and communication of the multi-year IS strategy and strategic plan
- Provide input and guidance to CTO on emerging technologies and innovation activities
- Contribute to strategic IS CAP leadership messaging and communication
- Advise and provide guidance to CAP leaders on strategy, planning, and operations management processes
- Work with CAP business leaders to integrate business and IT planning
- Develop and manage the Enterprise Architecture and Business integration department budget
- Manage, develop, and evaluate a team of managers
- Demonstrate people manager competencies
- Manage communications and coordination with business stakeholders, other IS departments, third-party providers, and sourcing partners
- Collaborate with other IS and CAP leadership to support the organization's goals, mission, values, processes, and policies
- Lead and drive change
- Provide technology leadership, guidance, and vision to the enterprise
- Provide leadership and guidance to Enterprise Architecture resources
- Consult on the selection, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of technologies
- Work collaboratively as necessary with other IS resources to develop proposals and specifications for technology initiatives and systems
- Provide ongoing, high-value consulting and guidance to business stakeholders
- Acts as a chief advocate and communicator of IS services and capabilities
- Serve as a formal liaison to the business to address needs and concerns related to IS services and capabilities
- Foster alignment and integration of business strategy and IS strategy
- Work with the business to understand technology needs and consult on the design of technology service offerings to meet business needs
