Building Operator

This position is for a Building Operator based at Arthur Erickson Place in downtown Vancouver. The role will ensure that the assigned real estate portfolio is managed and maintained safely and in an environmentally responsible manner, while optimizing operational efficiency to the highest standard.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of commercial building operations experience.
• Diploma or Certificate in Building Systems, HVAC, 4th/5th Class power engineering certificate, Building Environmental Systems (BES I/II), or a related technical field.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures (WHMIS, Lockout & Tag out, fall protection and mold).
• Proficient in various computer software and systems (Microsoft Suite, Access, DDC Systems).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills are advantageous.
• Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills with an ability to meet deadlines with complete ownership and accountability.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team collaboratively and respectfully.
