Job Description
Collington, A Kendal Affiliate, is a Life Plan Community that offers an active lifestyle for independent living and person-centered continuing care for assisted living and memory support. The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) is responsible for providing direct resident care and developing individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Comply with physician orders as delegated by the licensed Nurse
- Provide direct resident care
- Establish and maintain a therapeutic environment for residents
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist and train residents with needed personal and grooming/hygiene skills
- Maintain residents' rooms and possessions cleanly and neatly
- Maintain a professional manner when in contact with residents, families & friends, staff, and outside agencies
