We're looking for a Community Manager to build and maintain a fast-growing global gaming community. The role involves owning Discord, creating community content, running tournaments, and building relationships with top players and streamers. The ideal candidate is a gamer with strong writing and moderation skills, and experience in managing online communities.
Requirements
- Own Discord: moderate channels daily, enforce community rules, manage bots and roles
- Write and publish all community content (patch notes, newsletters, announcements) on-brand and on time
- Run weekly tournaments and competitive seasons: scheduling, brackets, real-time moderation, results
- Build direct relationships with top players, streamers, and creators
- Report weekly on community sentiment: what players love, hate, and want — pulled from Discord, Reddit, and social
- Create onboarding content for new players: welcome flows, beginner guides, FAQs
- Manage the referral program: track metrics, improve mechanics, coordinate with marketing
- Produce posts, graphics (Canva), and short-form videos (CapCut)
