Job Description
CommerceIQ is seeking an Engineering Leader to head the incubation of its next-generation AI-driven SaaS solutions. The role involves hands-on technical leadership, team management, and building scalable AI systems for scaling business impact. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a deep understanding of machine learning and agentic applications, reporting directly to cofounders and scaling AI systems from research to production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering
- 2+ years leading AI/ML teams
- Hands-on experience training AI/ML models
- Proven experience building and deploying agentic applications
- Advanced expertise in machine learning and deep learning
- Experience designing scalable data systems and pipelines
- Fluency in Python, Java, Scala, or C++
- Strong ability to balance technical depth with leadership
