Job Description
Join Commissionaires Victoria, the Islands and Yukon, Canada’s premier not-for-profit security provider. We are seeking a proactive and observant Live Video Monitoring Operator to support real-time video intelligence operations focused on crime prevention, threat deterrence, and incident response.
Requirements
- Valid BC Security Worker License (Security Guard/Security Alarm Monitor), or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple feeds simultaneously
- Sound decision-making skills and ability to apply procedures consistently
- Clear, confident verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective during time-sensitive situations
- Comfortable working with technology-driven monitoring systems
- Strong written communication for accurate incident reporting
- Ability to follow structured procedures while adapting to dynamic environments
- Professionalism, discretion, and reliability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
