Health, Safety, & Environmental Business Partner

The Health, Safety, & Environmental Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to bridge the gap between health, safety and environmental compliance and operational goals, embedding a proactive safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Actively participate in maintaining a zero-incident safety culture.
• Live and champion the Commonwealth Rolled Products core values.
• Provide HSE advice, guidance and technical expertise to the facility leadership team.
• Ensure the health and safety of all employees, visitors and contractors through adherence to HS&E standards, policies and procedures.
• Partner with plant Business Leaders to implement proactive solutions to avoid workplace injury and environmental upset conditions and solve problems as they arise.
• Improve HSE performance by continuously increasing awareness and improving safety systems to eliminate accidents and injuries.
• Conduct inspections and audits to detect and eliminate unsafe practices and potential environmental noncompliance conditions.
• Support emergency response action programs.
• Implement and deliver education and training programs for effective health, safety and environmental practices.
• Conduct annual reviews of HSE policies and procedures.
• Review Industrial Hygiene Matrix and provide direct HSE support to the Casting Department.
