Engineer, Field Application

CommScope is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers. The role involves providing application engineering support, designing new products, and troubleshooting network infrastructure. Collaboration with internal teams is essential, supporting Product and Account Management and Sales teams. Fluency in Japanese and English is required.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in electrical, optical or telecommunications field
• 8-10+ years’ experience in customer consultation or support
• Domestic and international up to 30% of time
• Fluent in both native Japanese and English languages
• Previous outside plant / inside plant engineering and post-sales experience
• Knowledge of passive fiber optics products preferred
• Knowledge of FTTx network design
