We are looking for a skilled Engineer I, Product Development to support the sustaining and new product development for fiber connectivity solutions.

Requirements

Create documentation of product requirements based on industry standards.
Support designs of new components and assemblies.
Create documentation to support the release of new and modified products.
Support the optical and mechanical testing of fiber optic products.
Work with Manufacturing on process development and introductions of new products into Manufacturing.
Perform data analysis and evaluation.
Leads and maintains project scopes, tracks Product Development projects, and ensures timely completion of project timelines and milestones.
Conducts Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to assess product criticality and ensure design robustness.
Review and approve product design and engineering change documentation for conformance to company, customer, agency and industry specifications and standards
Collaboration with current staff which includes other engineers and technicians in team
Collaborates with global design centers and manufacturing sites to resolve design and manufacturing issues, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
Ensures seamless design, documentation, and product change management processes.
