Job Description
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide one-on-one support and day-to-day problem-solving for individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. The Peer Support Specialist will work with clients to promote a safe and inclusive recovery environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders
- Minimum of six months experience in the Behavioral Health and/or Substance Abuse field
- Current AZ Driver's License (Valid and in good standing)
- Clear 39-Month Motor Vehicle Record
- Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or able to obtain a CPSS certification within 90 days (3 Months) of hire
- Addiction and Substance Use Disorders certification preferred
