Job Description
Peer Recovery Coach needed for part-time position at Community Healing Centers' men's jail program in Niles, MI. Provide peer support services, advocate for consumers, and assist clinical staff. Requires high school diploma, CCAR training, and experiential knowledge of recovery process.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) training or equivalent
- Experiential knowledge of the recovery process and current stable recovery
- Knowledge of 12-step programs
- MCBAP certification or ability to obtain MCBAP certification
