Job Description
The IT Application System Specialist is responsible for providing product ownership, system support, and user training for the Meditech Expanse EMR. The role involves troubleshooting, system updates, and upgrades, as well as user support and incident management.
Requirements
- Experience with Acute and/or Ambulatory Meditech Expanse Electronic Health Records systems
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Proficiency in training and supporting EMR system users
- Excellent verbal and written technical/non-technical communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in either Nursing, Health Sciences, Information Systems, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
