Job Description
The Community Support Specialist will provide case management and supportive services to participants of the shelter location, assisting them in obtaining stable housing outside of the shelter. They will work under the direction of the Program Manager and be responsible for community building, case management, and assistance with gaining needed services.

- Cultural competence
- Experience and ability to de-escalate mental and behavioral health crisis situations
- Strong organizational, phone and computer skills
- Working knowledge of the social service system
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to navigate the Internet to familiarize and access various resources
