We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Lead Direct Support Professionals (LDSPs) to provide care and support for individuals with disabilities. As a Lead DSP, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by assisting them in various aspects of daily living, promoting independence, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Support individuals in developing life skills, such as communication, self-care, and household management.
- Accompany individuals to appointments, social events, recreational activities, and other outings.
- Assist in the management of personal finances and review of documentation for the individuals in your care.
- Implementing behavior support plans, teaching coping strategies and promoting positive social interactions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, therapists, families, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in working with individuals with disabilities.
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures governing the provision of services to individuals with disabilities.
