Job Description
The Accountant III is responsible for preparing financial statements and analyses, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and assisting with monthly closing and production of financial statements. This individual will also contribute to the completion of timely monthly and annual financial reports and statistics, and prepare journal entries to the general ledger. The Accountant III will also assist in reviewing and updating monthly closing procedures, and reconcile the asset values reported to the various balance sheet accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business
- Master's Degree preferred
- Great Plains Software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook proficiency
- Ability to apply accounting principles to practical situations
- Ability to evaluate financial data and make appropriate recommendations
