Job Description
The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) is seeking a Program Leader for their Elementary Summer Program. The Program Leader will work with transitional kindergarten to fifth-grade school-aged children, providing support for their academic, social, and emotional development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people, a sense of humor, creativity, and patience, and experience planning and facilitating academic, enrichment, and recreational curriculum activities.
Requirements
- AA degree preferred but must have completed a minimum of 48 college units or passed an Instructional Aide Exam.
- Passion to work with young people ages 5 and up from diverse backgrounds.
- Have a sense of humor, creativity, and patience.
- Knowledge of the youth development framework and practices and one or more years of experience planning and facilitating academic, enrichment, recreational and social emotional learning curriculum activities for school aged children
