Job Description
Compa is a venture-backed SaaS startup revolutionizing the future of compensation. As an Software Engineer on the Core Infrastructure team, you will own and lead infra and DevOps projects across Compa's products, systems, AI/ML, and data warehouse.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role
- Experience designing, building, and operating systems on one of the major cloud providers
- A strong engineering background in DevOps
- Experience with operational excellence and a deep understanding of metrics, alarms and dashboards
- A passion for enabling teams to build fast while building safely through well-designed proactive detection mechanisms and tooling.
- Deep understanding of networking, operating systems, and cryptographic protocols
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes
- Gumption — experience working at early-stage startups
