Construction Project Manager

Mon Valley Initiative is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee housing rehabilitation, new construction, and property maintenance projects in support of its regional real estate development strategy.

Requirements

• Lead feasibility assessments for potential development sites
• Develop preliminary cost estimates, scopes of work, and construction specifications
• Create and manage detailed construction schedules
• Oversee the contractor bidding process
• Cultivate and maintain a diverse network of contractors and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with building codes, construction drawings, and project specifications
• Monitor contractor and consultant performance
• Conduct site inspections, develop punch lists, and confirm completion of corrective work
• Review and process construction draw requests
• Provide consistent communication and written progress updates
• Maintain organized and thorough project documentation
• Advise leadership on materials selection, construction methods, sustainability opportunities, and cost considerations
• Support property maintenance needs
