Job Description
Compass Collegiate Academy is seeking a Special Education Teacher and Coordinator for the 2025-2026 school year. The Special Education Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teachers, Dean of Academics, and Executive Director to support scholars with emotional, cognitive, and/or physical challenges. The role involves managing the special education caseload, monitoring IEPs, and providing academic, emotional, and physical support to scholars.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in special education or related field
- South Carolina teaching certification in special education
- Expertise in special education laws and procedures
- Proven track-record of achievement as a teacher or academic leader
- Experience working with a culturally diverse student body
