Job Description
Compass Health Center is seeking an adult group therapist for its Mood and Anxiety Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs at its Northbrook, Illinois location. The company is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, using evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and ACT. They offer a collaborative environment and a supportive staff.
Requirements
- Provide group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu.
- Develop therapeutic group relationships.
- Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies.
- Engage in crisis management.
- Create and update treatment plans.
- Chart in electronic medical records system.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Meet with patients individually for case management.
