Crisis Outreach Professional (DCR)

Crisis Outreach Professionals provide intervention and support to individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises, working closely with emergency responders, law enforcement, and other community partners. They receive calls, assess individuals, and arrange placements for hospitalization or outpatient treatment. The role offers varied workdays, creativity, and the opportunity to work collaboratively and independently.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
• Two years of prior experience providing behavioral health treatment (preferred)
• Eligibility for designation as Designated Crisis Responder
• Eligibility for credential with the Dept of Health that designates Mental Health Professional status
• Valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and a safe driving record
