Crisis Outreach Professionals work with individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises, providing crisis assessments, coordinating care, and making arrangements for hospital placements or outpatient treatment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Two years of prior experience providing behavioral health treatment is preferred
- Eligibility for designation as Designated Crisis Responder
- Eligibility for a credential with the Dept of Health that designates Mental Health Professional status
- Valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and a safe driving record
