We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data platforms, developing robust data pipelines, and ensuring that data is reliable, performant, and secure for analytics and AI applications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the Data Engineering field, including practical knowledge with a major cloud provider (e.g. Azure, AWS, RedHat Openshift)
- Comprehensive knowledge in CI/CD and Kubernetes
- Practical experience in configuring data pipelines: data streaming, data integration, data transformation, data preparation, and quality assurance
- Solid database knowledge in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. Spark, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Vector DBs like Elastic, Chroma)
- Very good knowledge in Python and common data formats (JSON, Parquet, Avro)
- Basic knowledge in data protection, compliance, and data governance, including the use of tools for data catalog and data lineage (e.g. IBM Knowledge Catalog, Colibra)
- Very good German and good English language skills
