Lead Data Engineer (AI & Cloud Solutions) (All Genders)

We are a global technology company seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join our team. As a primary point of contact for data and system access discussions, you will identify and eliminate roadblocks, guide and mentor other data engineers, and oversee data quality, integrity, and security.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Engineering, including 5 years focused on backend development with Python in production environments
• Fluency in English and Polish, with a minimum of B2 level proficiency
• Knowledge of German is a plus
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL or Java
• Hands-on experience with AI technology, e.g. AI Agents, RAG, MCP, with quality assurance of AI systems
• Proven experience working with managed cloud services (AWS or Azure), including AI services, storage and databases
• Knowledge of data integration, APIs, and workflow automation tools
• Understanding of data modeling, data governance, and best practices in data security
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and project management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remove roadblocks and drive project progress
