The Solution Director is responsible for growing a specific Line of Business by selling our solutions into existing and new accounts. The Solution Director will take an active role in supporting key opportunities by providing guidance for the Solution Sales and Sales team using their professional knowledge and experience, as well as drawing on best practices.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, solutions consulting, or technical sales roles
- Demonstrated success personally leading complex deals while developing others
- Strong understanding of enterprise architectures and services-led solutions
- Experience operating in a matrixed sales organization with revenue accountability
- Executive-level communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and lead without direct line authority
- Expertise in the latest technologies for designated specialty area
- Ability to build effective and constructive relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use discretion and independent judgment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present in a group setting
- Project a professional image and strong business savvy during customer interactions
- Knowledge of technology and the industry channel dynamics
- Possess a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong business sense
- Prior experience as a Solution Architect, Consultant, Solution Specialist, or Technical Pre-Sales Leader
- Experience building or scaling solution-selling motions
- Vertical or industry expertise (e.g., enterprise, public sector, regulated industries)
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
