The primary function of this position is to ensure the plant facilities/utilities systems are maintained operational, identify and follow through on repairs, and maintain plant operational equipment.
Requirements
- Must have a 2-year technical degree in a related field or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- Must obtain a minimum of a 3rd Class Steam Engineering license.
- Must possess a high level of machine troubleshooting ability in a manufacturing environment, including but not limited to: Allen Bradley PLC’s, Frequency Drives, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Servo Motors, Refrigeration systems (NH3), Boiler systems, and HVAC systems.
- Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Must operate with a high degree of proficiency with little or no supervision, particularly as such involves the specific trade area.
- Must be willing to learn SAP, LEDS, and Infinity, and be able to demonstrate ability.
- Must be able to design, build, construct, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, set up, or adjust machinery, equipment, parts, vehicles, or structures.
- Must be a motivated team player.
- Journeyman card preferred.
