Job Description
Speech/Language Pathologist provides competent evaluation, treatment, and supervision of patients with communication, problem-solving, cognitive processing, and swallowing difficulties.
Requirements
- Evaluate patients within 24-48 hours of physician's orders
- Develop effective treatment plans
- Communicate with physician, clinical managers, and healthcare team members
- Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate records and billing
- Instruct patients' families and nursing staff in maintenance programs
- Recommend equipment to improve delivery of clinical services
