Speech Language Pathologist-Full Time or Part time

Speech/Language Pathologist provides evaluation, treatment, and supervision of patients with communication and swallowing difficulties. Conducts in-services and training for facility staff and maintains professional documentation of services.

Requirements

• Evaluate patients within 24-48 hours of physician's orders
• Develop effective treatment plans
• Communicate with physician, clinical managers, and other healthcare team members
• Participate in care conference meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Participate in in-service training programs for other staff
• Record evaluations, treatment notes, and progress notes
• Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance programs
• Participate in discharge planning
• Achieve or exceed minimum productivity standard
• Recommend equipment for improved clinical services
• Maintain an organized working environment
