Editorial Assistant

Bon Appétit and Epicurious seek a proactive and organized Editorial Assistant to join their fast-paced team in New York, supporting daily workflow across platforms and topic areas.

Requirements

• College degree in journalism or related field and/or 1–2 years of equivalent work or internship experience at a fast-paced media or lifestyle company or brand.
• Strong writing, editing, copy-editing skills, and attention to detail.
• Self-starting team player, detail-oriented, efficient, organized, and able to problem-solve and multitask.
• Experience proactively and effectively communicating and collaborating across departments and levels within a team.
• Proficiency with GSuite (Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
• Tech savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software tools, technologies, and processes.
• Prior experience with digital and print CMSs.
• Comfort with, and interest, in appearing on video and audio.
• A passion for cooking, food, and service journalism.
