About the Company
The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation is a sovereign tribal government located in northeastern Washington State. It is governed by a 14‑member Business Council that represents and serves 9,500 tribal members, many of whom reside on the expansive 1.4‑million‑acre reservation. The council oversees a broad range of responsibilities, including cultural preservation, economic development, natural resource stewardship, and community services. Job Description
The SYEP provides work experience, job readiness skills, and training needed to gain full time employment for high school students ages 14-18.
Requirements
- Provide proof of Certification of Indian Blood, Birth Certificate, Social Security card, State ID, School ID or License
- Attend workshops
- Possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license and be eligible for the Tribes' Vehicle Insurance
Benefits
- Paid at a minimum wage of $17.25 per hour
- Limited to a total of 40-hour work week within the five (5) week program up to a maximum of 200 hours
