The High School Math Teacher will provide support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students, developing lesson plans, and collaborating with other staff members.
Requirements
- Adapts classroom work for individualized learning plans
- Administers developmental testing programs and subject specific assessments
- Advises parents and/or legal guardians of student progress
- Collaborates with instructional staff and community resources
- Coordinates various activities and ensures equipment and materials availability
- Directs assistant teachers and student workers
- Instructs students to improve academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills
- Manages student behavior and monitors students in various educational environments
- Participates in meetings and prepares written materials to document student progress
- Reports incidents and responds to inquiries from various sources
