Energy Forecasting Analyst

A commercially focused energy business is seeking a numerical, commercially focused graduate or experienced energy analyst to work in a small team focused on improving the profitability of the trading and hedging activities of the company.

Requirements

• Strong academic background with a numerical/analytical degree
• Excellent IT skills, including spreadsheet skills, and preferably, database skills and programming skills
• Excellent understanding of UK electricity market and relevant commodity markets and the fundamental drivers which shape them
