Energy Forecasting Analyst

A commercially focused energy business is seeking an experienced energy analyst to improve the profitability of trading and hedging activities. The role involves running and improving price forecasting models, monitoring market developments, and producing reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong academic background with a numerical/analytical degree
• Excellent IT skills, including spreadsheet skills, and preferably, database skills and programming skills
• Excellent understanding of UK electricity market and relevant commodity markets
