This job is for a Desktop Support Engineer at Consumers Energy. The role involves providing technical support to staff and customers, troubleshooting difficult infrastructure problems, and owning incidents through resolution.
Requirements
- Walk-in support to end users with hardware and software issues
- Provide second-level technical support to end users and IT specialists
- Perform production support and administration tasks
- Troubleshoot issues with Windows and Mac desktop operating systems, applications, network connectivity, and hardware malfunctions
- Provide highly technical hardware and software break-fix support to end users
- Collaborate with network, Active Directory, server, and software teams to complete incident resolution
