Job Description
CGS is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join a fast-paced and hard-working team to assist with any legal accounts. The Paralegal will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the company's portfolio, with a focus on providing professional, accurate, timely, and reliable paralegal support.
Requirements
- Paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study
- At least two years of litigation paralegal experience is required; trial experience is very helpful
- At least one year of experience in automated litigation support
- Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
- Hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware systems
- Hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources
