Job Description
CGS is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join a fast-moving in-house government legal team. The Senior Paralegal will support various aspects of the company's litigation portfolio, including eDiscovery activities, workflow management, and attorney support.
Requirements
- Paralegal certificate or JD or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school
- At least two years of litigation paralegal experience, trial experience is very helpful
- At least one year of experience in automated litigation support
- Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
- Hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware systems
- ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources
