Senior Paralegal

CGS is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join their in-house government legal team. The role involves supporting various aspects of the company's litigation portfolio, including eDiscovery activities, workflow management, and attorney support. The ideal candidate should have experience in litigation paralegal work, knowledge of federal and state court systems, and proficiency in legal research tools.

Requirements

• Paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study.
• At least two years of litigation paralegal experience is required; trial experience is very helpful.
• At least one year of experience in automated litigation support.
• Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
• Hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware systems.
• Ability to consistently deliver the highest quality work under extreme pressure.
