Regional Community Engagement Manager is responsible for providing community engagement regional support to a network of local teams overseeing various phases of the business and raising awareness on social risk assessment, social investment program development and tracking, complaints and grievance mechanisms, cultural resources, human rights, and community agreements.
Requirements
- Support local and regional teams in establishing processes to develop, implement, and track community engagement activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, indigenous groups, public institutions, and other regional stakeholders
- Facilitate participatory processes such as consultations, workshops, and community meetings
- Develop and implement risk management processes, including risk registers to track and assess risks and controls
- Monitor the ever-changing regulatory climate and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of changes which could impact on the business
- Support due diligence process and engagement with external developers
- Develop training materials to raise community management awareness and sustainability practices
- Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Support the development, implementation, and tracking of community investment projects
- Collaborate with internal departments to align social activities with project timelines and operational needs
- Support local and regional legal teams in assessing potential compliance issues relating to community relations activities
