As a Senior Account Logistics Manager at Convelio, you will be a recognized shipping expert and a trusted business partner to some of our most strategic clients, handling complex shipments and growing our accounts.
Requirements
- Master shipment execution at the highest level of complexity
- Advanced quoting: Accurately quote the most advanced projects — multiple artworks, multiple pick-ups and destinations, mix of custom quotes and algo, complex customs, supplier negotiation, high-value artworks.
- Complex projects: Lead complex projects from quote to delivery: containers, fairs, returns to Europe involving multiple pieces and countries, CITES shipments, extremely tight deadlines requiring precise crate pre-building and flight pre-booking.
- Margin control: Maintain strong control of margin across the shipment lifecycle, critically assessing trade-offs between quality of service and profitability, and escalating when needed.
- Incident management: Resolve incidents with full autonomy, working with restorers, insurers and clients and staying in charge of the shipment until it is fully resolved.
- Grow Convelio’s business with your clients
- Customized pricing: Create customized pricing set-ups for your clients based on their specific needs.
- Stakeholder expansion: Connect with additional stakeholders at your clients' organizations to broaden Convelio's footprint.
- Account development: Develop a deep understanding of your accounts' business to identify new areas where Convelio can further serve them (new segments, conversion opportunities, processes, online quoting, pricing increases).
- Business Reviews: Independently lead Business Reviews by preparing materials, discussing service levels, gathering client feedback and turning it into action.
- Relationship building: Build long-term, trusted relationships within client organizations (e.g., inviting clients to Convelio & Friend events, getting introduced to other teams).
- Contribute to team and Convelio’s growth
- Become a go-to expert over time by taking on some of the most challenging procedures within the team.
- Knowledge sharing: Document new and advanced processes to share knowledge and continuously contribute to the team’s expertise.
- Training: Proactively support onboarding of new and recent joiners — through shadowing, training, or taking them to meet suppliers and clients.
- New suppliers: Identify new suppliers to expand our options and save margin, through client recommendations, market research, or mining past Convelio orders.
- New solutions: Drive innovative solutions (e.g., self-masterpak, auction house collectibles, aged inventory, consolidated shipping) from idea to a well-organized solution with clear processes and execution.
- Improved toolkit: Continuously improve the team toolkit — Notion pages, Front templates, internal documentation — to elevate operations for the wider team.
- Product partnership: Act as the go-to person for the Product and Tech teams: relay ground-level feedback and help shape future product development.
- Cross-office collaboration: “Grease the wheels” on collaboration with our Paris and London offices, maintaining strong relationships with counterparts and improving cross-office coordination.
