Convene Hospitality Group is seeking a Director, National Accounts to develop and lead the execution of a holistic National Account Management strategy for key UK- and European-based accounts. The role requires 8+ years of progressive experience in Sales, with a minimum of 5+ years in a complex and/or multi-unit strategic account management environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Sales, with a minimum of 5+ years in a complex and/or multi-unit strategic account management environment
- Experience in the hospitality or events industry with strong existing relationships with clients and channel partners
- Proven account management ability and a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven track record in Sales and Negotiation including experience qualifying, negotiating, and executing preferred partnership or master services agreements
- Demonstrated success as a proven closer and collaborative (enterprise) seller with a history of closing high-value deals
- Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships, with a proven ability to create strong and productive relationships at senior buyer levels within an organization
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- A growth mindset, flexibility and an ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic on-site work environment
- A passion for events, travel, and for being face-to-face with clients and partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
