Director, Business Development

The Director, Business Development will lead the advanced sales cycle, converting qualified opportunities into closed deals by building strong client relationships, understanding customer needs, and crafting winning solutions. This role collaborates cross-functionally to develop proposals, negotiate deals, and present opportunities to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience successfully originating and closing complex deals with large electricity consumers and/or utilities
• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to proactively manage each step of the sales cycle, from lead identification and cold calling to negotiating a definitive contract
• Ability to manage customers and move towards a quick close through
• Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate a wide variety of functional areas
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to dive into models to fully grasp our value proposition and come up with creative solutions for non-standard deals
