Healthcare Practice Financial Analyst

The Healthcare Practice Financial Analyst is responsible for performing financial analysis, revenue cycle analysis, and statistical analysis to support the physician practice. The role also involves communicating with physicians and staff about new financial initiatives and mediating discussions about expenses allocations and clinical measurements. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of financial acumen and software applications such as Excel and Power Point.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (or similar)
• 2+ years of accounting experience in Healthcare (2+ years CCPN physician practice finance is a plus)
• Analytical ability to evaluate and interpret financial, statistical, revenue cycle, and operational data
• Strong written and oral presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and lead projects
• Proficiency in computer spreadsheet applications including graphing and complex formulas
• Fundamental knowledge of software that supports business (Lawson, Epic, Strata, and other data repositories)
