
Job description
The Commodity Analyst will provide coordination and leadership to design and implement a supply/logistics network which delivers competitive cost and meets quality, speed, and flexibility requirements. This role will develop and implement supplier metrics focused on improving supplier performance regarding lead-time, quality, OTD, and compliance. The Commodity Analyst will represent the supply chain in support of both New Product Development and Sustaining Engineering initiatives.
Lead supply chain and sourcing activities for assigned commodity portfolio, coordinate supply improvement projects, consistently improve supplier performance, and drive cost savings and trade working capital improvements.
This role requires strong project management, organizational, communication, and data analyzing skills. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, team-oriented, and able to evaluate and effectively handle multiple priorities.
