Copia Power is seeking a Sr. Manager/Director, Portfolio Finance to support the growth and financing of its renewable energy portfolio by leading innovative capital-raising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in renewable energy project finance, strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset aligned with a people-first culture.
Requirements
- Leading financing activities, including corporate debt facilities, debt term conversions, tax equity fundings, refinancings, tax equity partnership buyouts, and asset divestitures.
- Reviewing changes to transaction and project documentation, negotiating amendments and waivers, and seeking approval and consents from financing parties.
- Managing transaction due diligence bringdown processes at fundings, including working closely with consultants, internal and external counsel, technical, and internal teams.
- Collaborating across internal teams, including Capital Markets, Construction, Corporate Finance, and Asset Management, to manage ongoing financing requirements.
- Managing financial tracking models and supporting internal/external modelling requests for projects in construction and operations.
- Communicating professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives, financing institutions, and investors.
- Maintaining relationships with tax equity investors, lenders, and other financial partners in the renewable energy sector.
