Job Description
As a Non-Qualified Plan Specialist, you will be responsible for managing assigned non-qualified deferred compensation relationships, including daily administration of assigned accounts. You will assist clients by monitoring participant elections, distributions, and reporting, and ensuring plans are regulatory compliant.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ extensive experience with non-qualified plans under IRC 409A, 457(b), 457(f), and 415(m)
- Strong writing and communications skills.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with plan sponsors, attorneys, and consultants.
- Must be a well-organized self-starter who can effectively analyze a problem, articulate a well-thought-out solution plan, and deliver results
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Specialized certifications, such as the Nonqualified Plan Consultant (NQPCTM)
