The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a Medical Technologist I to join the Comparative Coagulation Lab at the Animal Health Diagnostic Center (AHDC). The job involves performing a comprehensive range of coagulation assays and adhering to quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate, timely diagnostic results for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, or a related science discipline, equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices, including proper handling of biological specimens and hazardous materials.
- Ability to adhere to established quality assurance processes.
- Basic computer skills with an ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the positions including sitting or standing for extended periods of time at benches, biological safety cabinets, microscopes or while using laboratory equipment.
