Job Description
Join Corning, a leading innovator in glass, ceramic, and materials science, as an Assistant Plant Controller. Assist the Controller with budget preparation, monthly forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure entity compliance with local regulations and GAAP accounting principles. Manage the period closing process and provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
- 5-10 years relevant experience in Manufacturing/Cost Accounting
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and general ledger systems
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, and link to business implications
- Good analytical skills, presentation skills, and problem-solving capability
