The company is looking for a Controls Technician II to collaborate with controls engineers to develop and implement control logic, fail-safe states, and recovery sequences. The role involves troubleshooting automation issues, coordinating with external integrators, and managing project timelines.
Requirements
- Experience integrating field devices and safety systems into automated equipment platforms
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, PID loop tuning, HMI/GUI development, and control system architectures
- Understanding of electrical design, robotics, electro-mechanical and motion control systems, and system integration in manufacturing environments
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement control logic, fail-safe states, and recovery sequences
- Proven project execution skills, including estimating timelines, meeting deliverables, and supporting system checkout and panel verification
