Job Description
Corning is seeking an Instrument Electrician to perform maintenance tasks on plant equipment, including installation, fabrication, assembly, setup, diagnosis, and preventative maintenance. The role involves working with various voltages and equipment, requiring hands-on skills and a commitment to quality and innovation. Corning is a global leader in glass, ceramic, and materials science.
Requirements
- Works from schematics, prints, sketches, written and verbal instructions.
- Performs work on energized lines, circuits, and connections with various voltages (110V, 220V, 440V).
- May work with voltages up to 12,500V.
- Operates a variety of specialized electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Pass a 'Fit for Duty' exam.
