The successful candidate will perform duties such as installation, fabrication, assembly, setup, diagnosis, preventive, predictive maintenance, and troubleshooting maintenance work on plant equipment, services, and facilities.
Requirements
- Works from schematics, prints, sketches, written and verbal instructions.
- Performs work on energized lines, circuits, and connections with a wide range of voltages including 110V, 220V, and 440V.
- May work with voltages up to 12,500V at distribution equipment.
- Operates a wide variety of equipment such as grinders, hand brake, mechanical alignment devices, rigging equipment, bearing pulling/pressing equipment, drills, gauges, meters, feelers, voltmeters, scopes, and other specialized electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Provides cross training for other skilled trades.
- May be a member of a work group or team that utilizes some business skills such as writing and entering work orders, material purchasing, project coordination, quotes, and estimates.
